Project Canto (Working Title) Pitch

The game is based Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy", in which the protagonist, who we know very little about, is trying to redeem himself for his past crimes. Instead, he is tricked by a hell spawn and must journey the Inferno (Hell), fight demons, hell spawns, etc. all while solving puzzles and going from layer to layer of all 9 rings of hell to escape. Wander through the layers of Purgatory and heaven in order to find his redemption he so desperately yearns for.
